OUR STORY:

Our narrative begins with our founder, Azur, who was simply seeking high-quality rakija for personal enjoyment. However, he soon discovered that without personally importing it from the skilled distillers of the Balkans, his options were severely limited. The international liquor stores primarily offered mass-produced, industrial-grade options filled with sugar, additives, and fillers, which often resulted in unpleasant aftereffects.

Faced with this dilemma, Azur decided to learn the art of distillation himself. Given that Michigan is renowned for its exceptional apple and fruit production, this choice was logical. He first imported a specialized still from Novi Sad, Serbia, crafted by one of the finest kazan makers.

Over the next few years, Azur dedicated himself to studying various distillation techniques to create the smoothest and highest quality rakija possible. This period involved extensive experimentation, with several unsuccessful batches along the way. However, as time progressed, he refined his methods and incorporated advanced technology to enhance fermentation and maintain precise temperature control of the still. Throughout this journey, he gleaned valuable insights from master distillers in Bosnia and Serbia, many of whom had received prestigious awards. He mastered the art of double distillation for each batch, utilizing a unique water filtration system to achieve unparalleled smoothness. Additionally, he infused his own distinctive touch, leaving those who tasted it in awe.

This led to the establishment of a micro distillery, resulting in the creation of Azurova Rezerva. Our primary objective is to produce some of the purest and highest quality rakijas available in the entire western hemisphere. We source all our fruits from local Michigan farmers, adhering to a strict principle: we will only use fruit that we would personally consume.

Our production consists of small, exclusive batches ranging from 5 to 25 gallons, with each batch possessing its own unique journey, narrative, and blend of distinct flavors and aromas. The number of bottles available for purchase from each batch will be very limited. As such, we encourage you to join the VIP club to receive all notifications and updates.

PHYSICAL NFT'S

Additionally, we will create a specially packaged bottle from each batch, which will be offered as a Physical NFT. This NFT will be traded on the Ethereum network, and ownership of the NFT will correspond to ownership of that unique bottle. It can be redeemed at our store located in Byron Center, Michigan. Upon redemption, the NFT contract will be burned. The special packaging will feature various unique designs, including custom-blown bottles and mini special barrels.
